Our shop does Cummins diesel work also, we are 1/2 way between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids on US 131. Wayland Chrysler/Dodge (269)792-2268. Cummins of Michigan sends many trucks to us.

Gene, Ken, Paul & the gang

I can vouch for the guys at Wayland Chrysler. I have bought 2 trucks from them now, and I live about 20 miles away with another dealer (who I worked for for a while) right down the road (3 miles) from me. Can't say enough good about them. Honest, helpful, reasonable people - the whole place.

I bought my present truck from them, and Paul at the service counter even gave me some help getting technical info (when I swapped my V10 for the diesel) that my own dealer (who I worked for) was clueless about. Great people!

P. S. When the weather gets warmer (no indoor facilities at the moment) I have all the tools necessary to set the timing on a 12V...

FWIW - I had a throttle cable recall completed at Wayland Chrysler a couple years ago. Ever since then I have had a terribly sour taste in my mouth after dealing with them. Becasue of this I will never return there or recommend their services.

While doing the recall they damaged my TPS in a way that it would no longer read more than . 1 volts. I made it about 10ft' out of the parking lot before I figured out the truck was shifting improperly. At 5 MPH in the parking lot it was kind of hard to tell. I immediaetely turned around and after checking things with a scan tool they determined the TPS voltage was way too low and that with no amount of adjustment could they remedy the situation. The result was a new TPS that I paid for, and at first they even tried to charge me full retail for it.

My guess is even if they test drove the truck and determined that the TPS was damaged after the recall work was completed I would have still been the one to pay for it.

This is just my experience. Obviously others have had better luck than me.
