Competition Humbled By A Christmas Tree

Competition NHRDA Dragrace video 9/8/08

I live near the Hatfield McCoy trail.

I live near the Hatfield McCoy trail. I have done so all my life. If your are new to Atv's you may like the trail system. If your an advanced rider I would suggest finding a local and ridding with them. There are some trails that run pretty well parrallel to the H M trail that are more challenging and do not have laws on them, like: speed limit, helmets, and alcohol.

What trail head are you parking up at? I can maybe steer you towards some better riding. Where I work at we have about 14,000 acres and you can ride about 20 miles in all directions from it.

I'm thinking about going to the Hatfield McCoy Trail system with my quad? Anyone been there done that yet?

You will not be disappointed... . We ride just south of Hatfield trails about 3 times a year and love it. You can ride for days and not see the same trail twice... . beautiful scenery!!!We stay on an old mining road in Gary,WV and give some of the locals a few bucks and they'll be glad to take you anywhere you want to go.

I don't know what plans you're making or made but we are going down on the 17th of October for a long weekend of riding and many of the locals will be there to be trailheads. Welcome to ride with us if your schedule works. BTW,the people down there are great... . will do anything for you and are very generous. The ATV'ers actually provide a decent amount of commerce for the communities there and subsequently, try to help in any way possible.

Hope this helps ---- Alan

I have no plans yet. I haven't had a decent ride on my machine this year and was looking to get my moneys worth out of it. Land around me is exteremly limited id you don't know someone and then its usually a couple of miles of trails and you make loops all day. I like to cruise check out the scenery enjoy the area and find a couple of mud bogs and climbs in between to break it up . I haven't got that much experience on the machine but have been in trucks dirtbikes etc since i was 13. I basically need to figuire out what the safe limit is on my machine but I'm smart enough to know what may be dangerous and use caution. I'm just looking for info on the area what trail sytem i should choose and if you guys are gonna be down on the 17th I might just meet up with ya a nd make it a mini TDR event

You'd be welcome if you choose to go!!Unfortunately,I won't have my Cummins there because we stay in the boonies and I have a MH. Go on Mapquest and look up Corretta Rd. in Gary,WV. This is the old mining road we stay at on top of the mountain. There is an Exxon station with store at bottom of mountain that has all the supplies we need

The riding there is simply uncomparable to anything you've ever ridden... . guaranteed. Plenty of challenges along the way if you wish to try them but the trails are fun and family oriented with the exception of some teens that are reckless.
