Turbo Silencing Ring?

Injector question?

Just wondering--I looked through many archives and haven't heard anyone mention the combination Boost/EGT gauge that Geno's Garage sells. (Westach) makes it.

Is this a reliable gauge? Any problems?

I'm thinking about using this gauge and mounting it in the little cubby-hole by the cupholders of my 97. The gauge comes with the mounting kit for that spot.

Any experience with this gauge? If so can the SPA combo gauge be mounted in the same spot I mention?

Thanks

They're top of the line I think, I use them in my 97. Look them over here & order their free catalog. www.westach.com

I have had one in for 170K. Changed the probe at 120K. Great gauge. Even see they have a bomb version now (boost to 50).

My only complaint about the Westach is nighttime illumination. It can be hard to see at a glance at night. Otherwise, it is an excellent gauge.

JJW, why did you change the probe, did it malfunction? Just curious. On the quality of the gauges, no complaints, works great.

I bought one due to ease of instlation & I had planed to switch to autometer later on but once I learned to read the gauge at a glance I new it was staying. The lighting on mine is great + matches factory gauge cluster verry well.

Probe failed. Was replace free of charge. Did not insert quite as deep in the manifold this time. Had erosion on the tip.

From the looks of the gauge it look's like it would be hard to get good reading on it.
Is that so?

Great gauge. I have had mine in now for two years, 35,000 miles. Easy to read, but I would recomend installing it on the A pillar. I have mine down in that little coupy hole and it is hard to see there when you really need it, you have to take your eyes to far off the road. I just ordered the tripple gauge full pillar pod from geno's. I will be moving the combo gauge and installing a fuel pressure and temperature gauge as soon as it it arives.
