Gauge worked fine for months. Now all of sudden reads below 0 psi. (pegged). Has to be the gauge. No codes, starts fine, no loss of power etc. Plus when I switched the power source to non ignition the needle drops below 0 psi. Short or sending unit problem? Anyone with similar problem or suggestions thanks.

i have westach gauges for 3 years, 0 problems. is your sensor mounted on the engine or some where else. they dont seem to last long on the engine ,too much vibration. i would suspect wiring or sender.

Likewise, I'd suspect ground issues. I didn't get a good ground when I first mounted my gauges, and it'd look like it was reading negative. Fixed the ground issue and all was well with the world.

Thank's I'll check ground again. (flex hose from schrader to sender mounted to bracket on oil stick holder on top of ATS arch flow intake)

Checked everything again. Called Westach troubleshooted with them awesome customer service. Got a bad sending unit. Replacement on the way. Thanks again. :)

Update. Just recieved my replacement sending unit from Westach. Installed and everything is just running fine. Great service from them. Got a back up unit on the way from GENO's. though. Had to troubleshoot with an oil gauge to make sure I had pressure the days with the gauge out.
