I have one installed in my truck. I have both pre and post turbo EGT probes and a switch next to the gauge to select the probe to look at. I mounted the gauge on the A pillar. Let me know if you need any more info.

Bought mine over a year ago from Geno's along with the temp gauge for the transmission. This week I ordered directly from Westach, a fuel pressure unit with user set warning LED/relay output.

I like 'um. Easy to read at a quick glance, no problems with the thermocouple, decent price.

Get the 0-50 psi boost unit if you plan on going BOMB wild, as the regular unit only goes to 35.

Thanks you guys for the info. I belive I will go with the Westach combo from Geno's. I talked with them on the phone. Very helpful and squared away.

I have the Westach combination boost/pyro and am very happy with it. Installation (pre-turbo) of the pyro probe was a snap. Gauge mounted to the right of the steering column low on dash. It can be seen easily through the wheel spokes. I watch it on hills while towing and experience has shown little to be concerned about except in the really long hard pulls. I bought the unit directly from the manufacturer at www.westach.com I believe.

I think Geno's saves you a few bucks due to the volume they order... mine is coming Tuesday! I wasn't really thinking of two sensors, (post and pre turbo), but may do it. Tell me the advantages.

The pre turbo will let you know the EGT coming from the engine and the pro turbo will give you an idea how hot the turbo is. Best to wait till the post tempature is 300 degrees before shutting the engine down. If you just have the pre turbo probe, you don't know the turbo tempature. If you only have the post turbo probe, you won't know that the EGT is to high till after it is to late.

I am working on a How-To for installing two Westach probes, boost and guage. Let me know if you would like to take a look at it.
