Western Uni-mount snowplow will not fit on a 2003

Well since I wrecked my 95 Ram and bought a new 03, I figured I'd just buy a new subframe and wiring harness and put my Western Uni-mount plow on the 03. Be all set, right?



Well a call to the Western dealer and they tell me that Western changed to the Ultra-mount and the Uni-mount will not fit on a new Dodge.



So I guess if I want to plow snow, I'll have to buy me a new plow this year. Guess I'll put the 8-footer I have now up for sale.

I'm not yet sure what I'm gonna do. The Western dealer says I should be able to get at least $1500 for it.

Blakers, I'm pretty sure Western makes a conversion bracket for a Uni-mount to an Ultra-mount You might want to ask them about it.

I asked them and they said they don't make a way to put that plow on the new truck. They make a subframe for a new Ford and new Chivy, but not the Dodge. They said they were not going to design a subframe for an older plow that will go on a newly designed truck.
