in the back - extra cab. i used permatex (black) around the bed light. are there any other not so obvious places for water intrusion. i am continually amazed at the great engineering on this truck. thanks. scott.

I know that was a bit of sarcasm



All in all I am happy with the Dodge as compared to some other trucks I have had, but I know what you mean. There are some little things that make you wonder who is engineering these things.

 

[Fish On]

on my 96 I had a leak at the top corner of the rear window seal. There is a channel that runs down the top of the roof that rolls over the back and towards the rear window. This channel funneled the water right to that part of the seal and it ran into the cab ruining my carpet. What a joke! Have a truck that is older than me (25yrs) That has never had a leak one! I feel your frustration. Hope this helps!
