it's monsoon season here and I finally have the dreaded "wet passenger floor board". I have sealed the rear window/third brake light and pulled back the carpeting for everything to dry. Judging by the rust spots and wet matting, the water came from the rear. (no AC leak or door gasket) Unfortunately, the matting is soaked in one section (about 8"x8") and will take days to dry. (and then have a musty smell) I checked some posts on this problem and it seems no one has mentioned removing the old matting and replacing it with new matting. it looks to be held on to the back of the carpeting by some spray adhesive, which I have. Just need an idea where to get some similar matting. thanks.
