WH1C hot end size

Anyone know the size of the exhaust housing of a WH1C turbo off of an early 94? I'm looking to go to a housing with a little better response than my stock one and a second gen cold side would be easier to match up to the second gen intercooler I just got my hands on.

Hey Paul!



I'm not totally familiar w/ the WH1C turbo off of a 1994, but it's my understanding that all 1994-1998. 5 12 valves came w/ the 12cm2. I've used a couple Second Gen (12cm2) "Hot End" housings on my First Gen (HIC model turbo) w/ excellent results.

My 1994 Ram has a 12 cm2 wastegated housing on a WH1C turbocharger. The truck was built in Dec 1993. Attached is a thumbnail of the turbocharger.

Thank you very much gentlemen. This was the info I was looking for. What would be really useful would be a link where a person could find the specs for all the Holset turbo models.

Couple more pieces to find and I'll be all set for a bombing weekend.
