Time for New Clutch?

Started the day at "DPP", Brian helped me install the AEM Workhorse on my truck, after taking off the AFE stage1.



Big Air Filter, nice equipment, excellent fit. It is not as loud as the Stage 1. I really got used to the whine, kind of miss it.



I am going home, on a 4 lane couplet, westbound, for at least 2 miles, a silver SVT Ford lightning,Idaho plates, nice truck, is on my right side, left side, squealing his tires, not really baiting me , but just showing off.



We are at a light together, look over, will not make eye contact. Light turns green, he barks his tires, OK,,, I WAIT, Traffic clears, we are rolling 30mph, the traffic in front is gone, I wait until I see him coming up on my right rear corner, step on my brake, push my pedal down, 20# boost, floor it, let off the brake.



When I look back, he is saturated in smoke, I can hear his Supercharger, and he is coming on hard,,,, he never came past my rear bumper.



We caught traffic really fast, I backed off, He pulled up beside me and says, "Come on Dude,lets go, I'm Gonna hAND YOU YOUR ***! This is a 9 second car!"



I said "I can see that", What I thought, was ,I just handed you yours, When I looked over, he had A small child in a car seat on the passenger side, 2yrs old, maybe.



What an idiot, I feel like crap, I have to be more careful!

I know I cannot best an SVT LIGHTNING on equal ground! but if he is foolish enough to take me on rolling... .

I am honestly not feeling any difference, still pulling the filter minder down about 1/2 way.



I am dumbfounded as to why it is quieter, this filter is twice as large as the AFE, it has to be less restrictive.



Listen to my truck on Northwest Bombers web site, U-tube, it is the second truck, zooms in on my license plate, "2007 Diesel Thunder". That is the AFE Stage 1.



That whistle is GONE,GONE, my boost gauge still the same, I can peg 60# and then settle at 50#.



Brady @ II was convinced my intake was too restrictive, AEM claims 1350 cfm and I was hoping, the new intake would solve the low boost prob.



I have not towed with it yet, so this maybe premature.



The lack of whistle may be just inside the cab???? i do not get to hear my own truck because I am always driving.



Brady@II, told me he wants happy customers, and he will work with me until I am :), What more can I ask.
