JB- that realy sucks. I feel your pain. Had it been my pickup, that dump truck driver would be sharing in the pain. Insurance co's can be a real PITA. Then you get the scum-sucking, bottom-feeding, good-for-nothing lawyers involved and it gets better from there. :rolleyes:

GL- yes, I know all too well about deer and other wildlife in the rut. You saw my rig at Case500D's. My pickup was all original till then :-laf. I think deer season should be year round, and get tax breaks for the more you kill.

I have a meeting with the insurance agent tomorrow. Apperently there was a problem with policy numbers matching but it turned out to be an internal hiccup within the insurance company. Looks like it will work out fine other than some inconvienience on my part. I'll know for sure tomorrow.

I'm really torn on this one since I don't have a left tail light I shouldn't be driving it let alone haul my family 300 miles up into the Sierras for 10 days. The insurance guy said he would get me a Suburban or Expidition for the trip. My family would be thrilled to have the extra comfort. (I know what a bunch of pansies) but I'm WAY more comfortable driving in the snow in my truck. I guess if they're offering and it doesn't cost me anything I'll abuse somebody elses equipment. BUT I WANT MY TRUCK :{ :{ :{

Get a $10 tail light from Wally- World, and put it on there for the trip. It wont be great looking, but will be legal. Plus, you can save a ton on fuel $$$ over an Excursion or Suburban.

GL- my involvement in politics ends at the voting booth.
