What is the best older Japanese 4cyl. engine/transimssion

Dodge slogans

Started off the nite with simple draw and fire on advancing attacking targets. Did very well with my 92FS (Instructor picked area of target to shoot on the fly) and the odd thing was First shot off draw was dead on and follow up shots crept away badly  never the less the attacker was rendered useless. Then from the back wall (100 feet) target was moved tward me and I had to scramble and load Mag and rack and load THEN fire and I will tell you it made me well aware of how precious time is!!!

Then tactical carbne was done in the same fashon and I had passed with a single shot on moving target (Head shot too Oo. ) Thanks to the Cx4 Storm.

The AR15 Frangible was tough as nails to be shall we say tactical with but hey it's an AR

Now for the Gigglefit. I had the opertunity to fire away with a Hk MP5 Full auto Oo. , Thomson Tommy gun full auto in . 45 Oo. , and a Micro Uzi full auto Oo. Yep I got to play with a $20,000. 00 dollar gun , a $30,000. 00 dollar gun , and a $9,000. 00 dollar gun Oo.

All in all Tonite will NEVER be forgotten

COOL!

They had some full auto stuff at my gun club a while back.

A Thompson, HK& MP5, M2 carbine, that's all I recall, I'm sure I missed one or two.

My wife got me a Sig P228 for Christmas.

The Mozambique drill is actually easy and fun with it. :-laf

I wish I could say that about many other of my handguns.

I know the value of the american dollar sucks, but your prices are way out there. There's no way on God's green earth those three guns total $59k.

Look em up. That is their NOW value. Just try and buy an ORIGIONAL Thompson 1928A1 forget just that remember after you purchase you then need to purchase a tax stamp FOR the weapon which out this way you get butt reammed for. That MP5 ... . good luck even finding a 1973 (First year of NEW improvements of the origional 1966) one now that is FACTORY FULL AUTO for civillian purchase (Obviously an FFL CLASS III holder) I saw the paperwork and he has a thompson that is still in it's factory case with an apraisal value @ 40K. Granted the ones I fired were his "toys" as they were the least perfect of what he owns and wants to use them (I can see why) So the values I fired in are what you would expect to pay for those SMG's in GREAT shape.

Any full auto weapon avaiilable to a civilian is going to be incredibly high priced. Investing in class 3 weapons is a very good idea, as the values will continue to go higher.

Good luck getting a $50K loan from the bank to buy a gun though.

Oh, and stupid Iowa laws prohibit any one other then a class 3 dealer to own a machine gun. I need to move.

Ah yes, there is much more to your story. You're citing super-clean-original-production-unfired-weapons prices. Still, I wish I could've been there. Glad you had fun.

Tell ya what Scoot it was awesome! I never had the oppertunity to experience a long "Push" of an automatic before and I must say that was sweet! The "Tomy" has allways had a distinct sound to it and to hear it live ... ... sent shivers up my back then to fire away with it just seemed to echo what you saw in the older Gangster movies.

Bloomy ... my ears are perked. I am still leery of HIS price of 20K but the average of CONVERTED mp5's are $16,000. 000 Here

I think there's one or two class III dealers in New Jersey.

They MUST have some political pull.

TMTT,

I guess I misled you a little bit. The weapons we purchase are LE items only. The deal with MP5 prices going through the roof is that H&K doesn't make them unless you special order them for military or LE. H&K says they were losing money on every MP5 they sold because they never wear out. They had no market on replacement parts. Anybody that ever used these professionally will probably tell you they are the absolute best as will I. It still disappoints me that H&K went this route to increase profit margins. That is the primary reason for development of the UMP45. Every handgun I own is H&K. Full autos are a whole lot of fun. I never had the opportunity to shoot the Tommy. I know I would like that as well!!
