What about the auto's on this board?

A few weeks ago there were some clutches given away. I felt kind of left out here being that I have an auto. I know there are others, and I don't know the circumstances. I would like to think all who were involved to give them away, it makes this site onoe step better than the others. But can we please work out a deal with DTT or ATS. :{ Just complaining a little and thank you to everyone assoicated with TDR... .

Not everybody with autos are "shifter challenged". I have two, but don't like them (man. trannies are hard to find around here and didn't have enough time to look for one). I drive 18-wheelers, more gears the merrier. Give me an Eaton any day.

Ditt on the more the merrier, I drove OTR for 8 years, and still haven't had enough shiftin', wish I had a 10 speed in my Dodge!

I'll second that!! I still think I'm gonna do the transmission swap. I cant find a used 5 speed truck to save my life. Guess thats my only option left. Nothin like the feel of an 18 speed and a peterbilt

I would like to see an auto giveaway. Just like this site and the loyalty of its members, the different vendors have their loyal following. I had early luck with Geno's, TST and Piers so even if someone is offering a cheaper price I will buy from them. You are correct the trans wars are a bit much.

I kind'a got stuck with one too. I wanted one, but the truck that had all the options I wanted was just an auto. Plus my wife can't drive a 5 or 6 speed. She has to drive my truck once in a while. I DO PROMISE that my next one will be a 5 or 6 speed. She will keep this truck. I just thought I would bring it up...

Naaw but Really I ain't shiftless or stickly challenged ... . But traffic arround here sure in heck is anti it seems! Man my 5 litre mustang is a stick and altho fun to drive (Slower than my 8200# white "Jerkmobile" go figure) and I don't take it out much cause the seccond I do The whole US somehow winds up here in our intersections dazed and confused as to what pedal makes the thing they ride in go faster .....
