re 94-98. 5

I went out the wrecking yard and got the only clutch master/slave cylinder assembly they had. It was already taken out. It slips into a somewhat octagon shaped hole in the pedal assembly and rotates 45*. The manual shows a bolt that I assume just keeps the unit from rotating.

Are the little ears on the clutch master the only thing that keep it from being pushed through the firewall, or is there something that distributes the load on the front of the cylinder?

I am getting ready to fire up the vertical mill and cut a plate to hold it.

This is on my conversion.
