I have a 2003 Ram CTD and want to buy aggressive mud/snow tires.

No all season, I have tried many of them and thye just dont cut it in the deeps now we get.

I need LT 265/70R/17 Load Range E

What are you guys running for a really aggressive tire.

WM300

I like my Cooper ST MAXX. They are not to loud, just not quiet enough not to mention it. They are a little squirmy until they are heat cycled a dozen times or so. They are snow rated( snowflake imprint in sidewall) and work well for me in muddy landings as well as snowplowing.

Can't say much about the snow usage(I've worked in the snow, but don't have a lot of customers that drive in it alot, being in Texas), but I've been having good luck with the Cooper and Mastercraft tires. With the Mastercraft Courser C/T, ST, and Cooper Dicoverer ST, C/T, and STT, you'll have a pretty aggressive tread that cleans out easily. For the money, the C/T and ST are good options, IMO. The new Discoverer ATP looks promising, but not many miles on any yet. The Toyo M/Ts are also a good tire, IMO, if you want to spend the money. IF you're not too worried about money, look for the something like an Interco TSL..... :D

I have the Federal Couragia M/T on mine and they did really good in the 2 snow storms we had this winter, they do make a good amount of noise though.

I use Blizzaks on my truck in stock size and load range E. I can't imagine anything being better than those. The problem you may have is trying to find some tire that is great at mud AND snow. If you can swing it financially, get dedicated winter tires and dedicated mud tires, that way you never have to compromise. Find a cheap set of take-off wheels and have one set mounted on those. That way, you can swap around when needed. That's what I do. Winter = Blizzaks in 265 size, rest of the year = Nitto DuraGrapplers in 285 size.
