I'm not a great typer, and after 15 years of PC use have yet to really "type". So I hunt and peck. However, I have a problem at least once every time I'm on the TDR. I'll be mid reply - hunting and pecking - to a thread and look up to check what I've typed to see the thread, not reply section  then I have to start all over again:{. Very frustraiting. Reality tells me that 99 44/100% of problems with PCs are user errors. Realizing this I figure I must be hitting a series of keys with my left hand that is causing this phenomena. Any ideas what I'm doing?

Absent a more detail description of exactly what you do, one thing I can think of that would do that is that you are hitting <ALT><Left arrow>, which will retun you to the previous page. The other possibility is that you start typing before the Reply-to page has been composed and displayed (and before the text box gets the focus for typing).

Make sure the little finger of your left hand is not hitting the CTRL or ALT key. If you do that then you may type something that results in a "hot" key action.

There is a keystoke combination for many commands in the text editor... For instance... If you want to CAP a letter you will use "Shift" plus the letter. However, I find myself hiting the "Ctrl" instead of "Shift" along with the respective letter I am (hoping) to CAP. The Ctrl along with the many letter combinations will do funny things.

For instance... Try doing Ctrl with "w" ... you will get kicked out of the website. Ctrl with "r" will return to top. There is one that I hit many time (hav'net figured which keystroke combo yet) that will erase all typed text.

It may be that you are hitting the Ctrl in lieu of Shfit to cause the problem... Yea... user error of which I am guilty too.

Beware the Tab key. In a VB form like this bulletin board, the Tab key takes you to the next field (where ever that may be). Basically, don't use the Tab key. Use spaces or the syntax formatting that is supported.
