Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What am I missing?

I have a motor I have not ran yet but will be installing in three weeks. This is a 5-spd, dually, 4x4 with 3. 55'sthat I only tow with.



Piers assembled it two years ago. Here is the list:



1995 12v with a 215 pump (stock plate) timed to 16. 5 degrees

piers stage one ported head

piers reground cam

o-ringed block

PDR hx40

370 injectors

ATS 3 piece exhaust manifold

4" exhaust

kdp done

13" SBC OFE

BHAF



egt gauge

boost gauge

transmission temp gauge





What else should I do or change?????

What problems will I have???????

EGT's while towing?



That is what i can think of right now.

Sounds good except the stock plate, the HX40 will have a hard time getting spooled up with it. Go with an 11 plate at whatever position keeps EGT's below 1200.



Oh, you might want to add an AFC kit too.

I would say a 10 plate , the injectors may be a little too much , but with a 4" exhaust , I would look at the turbo as some restriction / heat , and what about larger intake / -BHAF ???.

A 10 plate is gonna be a lot of fuel for towing purposes.

He said BHAF there at the end of the list.
