I need everyones input and experiences on this subject. Anyone know anything on Feed The Children???? Are there any websites that give a rundown on the charity scams???

I don't feel

that the children of the world would be any better off with a few bucks of mine. These scams funnel money into large do-gooder groups who exsist off contributions from well meaning contributors, and feed only themselves. I know of one honest and totally visible organization that shows where your contribution goes, and whose membership elects it's officers and regional representatives. The National Rifle Association.

Check out the cystic fibrosis foundation: www.cff.org

I am wearing one of their t-shirts now.

My family and I would be most thankful for any donations you, or others, would like to make.

I believe they were recently written-up as one of the most efficient charities to donate to.

I'll go see if I can find a link to that article.

Here's a brief paragraph I just copy and paisted, from their web-site:

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has consistently been recognized as one of the top health organizations in the country at efficiently using its money raised to invest in medical/research programs. According to The Wall Street Journal's SmartMoney magazine, the CF Foundation is a charity that "won't waste your money. "
