 I've noticed a soft clicking sound that's heard very well at the air filter. It's like a soft beat of a drum, like it's coming from one cylinder, it's not multiple. I've heard this for a while, it has'nt gotten any louder, and there are no shavings in my oil. Thinking maybe the cylinder might not be getting enough fuel, I put a long screwdriver to my ear and each injector fitting. 2 sounded like they were running fine. the other four didn't sound the same, slower maybe. Is there a way to check if they're running right? What are some signs of failure? My truck has 146K. Thanks for any help.

I bought a infrared heat gun the other day and took it on the boat with us. One of my friends 250 4 banger was not running right and smoking white/greg smoke. Shot the exhaust ports for each cylinder at fast idle. One was a couple hundred degrees lower. Bleed the injector and no change. He is getting a new injector installed. SNOKING

I'll crack the lines and bleed them a little, and get an infrared temp gun too. Thanks.
