2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission What are some of your all time favorite mods ???

Doesn't have to be expensive or add more RWHP. I think the one I like the most cost the least. My buddy, D. Dressler, sent me two military LEDs, which I wired into my grid heaters to watch them in action. After that it would have to be my Edge EZ box, still working great after 3+ years now.

sounds crazy, but for me it is the fog light jumper to keep the fogs on when high beams are on. probably have $. 08 worth of wire and spade connectors invested in it.

small peice of cable attached to a turnbuckle and the go pedal. I can use it for high idle and also super MPG cruise.

My favorite mod SO FAR would have to be my window tint. I don't have any performance bombs yet, even though I do have the 4" exhaust it is more for sound right now.



All the windows are tinted, even the windshield. It makes a huge difference in the summer time, it doesn't get near as hot inside as it did before during the day. And I think it gave the truck a little something extra for looks .

jponder, I remember you speaking of that mod before, do you have any pics. of how you installed it ? I had made a removable turnbuckle system when I first bought the truck, but your idea sounds better.

ON the 24v, my 5" Big Exhaust. It looks like a rumble with the engine off. It draws comments without raising the hood. And then it sounds like thunder when I fire it up.



ON the 12v, AIN'T nothing like a GSK to make those things responsive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Halo Light

Now I see how Scott gets his post counts so high, he doesn't know about the 'edit' button! Scott, remember those are EMI shielded, specified wavelength and viewing angle LED's! And the military wonders why their toilet seats cost $200.



My favorite... . the Halo light, of course!





P. S. After really thinking about it, nothing matches the Jacob's exhaust brake. This should come factory equipped!

My favorite of all time, outside of the staight pipe, would have to be the aftermarket remote locks. I love this thing, I don't miss it until travel with someone else and they have manual locks.

The favorite would be the Prime-Loc fuel filter re-locator, it makes servicing the thing a snap.

My favorite after the GO goodies is the Pacbrake. For looks (under the hood) my favorite is the polished aluminum valve cover. I have to stop there cause I’ve got way too many favorites! Good to hear from you again Scott!

My favorite mod was the first one. The biggest one.



The day that I bought the 01 truck! That was the best modification I've ever done in my vehiclehood lifetime! The most 'spensive and the best!



It is still rolling downhill from that beloved day in August 2001!
