In Western Iowa $1. 499/gal last Friday; at the local truck stop (Shell) $1. 549/gal, unless you pay <em>cash</em>, at which point it's $1489/gal. In Omaha (NE), was up in the $1. 55+ range on Friday. Highway robbery! :{

Its $1. 39 to $ 1. 49 in Central Missouri. One reason for the rise is that crude oil has been creeping up again. Its over $31 a barrel now. KL

I stopped and filled up at an independant truck stop on Saturday at 4:00pm. I drove past the extablishment 15 hours later and the price had gone up $0. 02. I stop to top of my tank after another 7 hours and the price had gone up ANOTHER $0. 02.



The scariest thing is this establishment is the cheapest fuel in the area. It is 10 mile out of my way to stop there so, whenever I'm close by I top off.



Prices around here range from $1. 70 to $1. 55.

Just paid 132. 9 today in South Jersey. . plus it was self serve (NJ and Oregon are the only 2 states that dont have self serve) so there was not a chance the gas monkey could hose it down the side of the bed. JB

Don't know about NJ but in OR you can pump your own diesel, just not gasoline.
