Just installed gauges on the 01. 5 ETH and am questioning the accuracy of the pyrometer.
The truck is 100% stock for fueling. Only change is a BHAF with a heat shield. It still has the stock exhaust with factory muffler.
At close to sea level and about 80* temps i'm seeing about 250 at idle, 650 cruising @ 65, 1100 max (unloaded truck).
Even if i hold the truck back with the brakes so it can't accelerate past say 55 it won't go over 1150. Does that sound right for a stock ETH with BHAF?
It's been so long since i've followed what a stock truck should do i can't remeber. And my 02 isn't really an apples to apples comparison.
All experiences are appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
