Hakkapellitta

Hakkapellitta, made by Nokia. They are from Finland, so they they know a thing or two about winter driving.

im running the nitto terra grapplers and have been very pleased so far. they are E rated for our heavy trucks. so not to worry about are my tires going to hold up. if i could stop doing burn outs they would last a good long time. you cant beat the price either.

Dueler Revo's here ,I also heard the new goodyear Silent Armor are a good tire for snow and a little cheaper than the Dueler.

Goodyear Silent Armour here. Rated for HD snow conditions. I go places in 2WD with these that I needed 4x4 when I had on my stock Michelin LT's.

Just bought a set of 285/70/17 toyo open country a/t 10 ply. . check out this website and the price on them... http://www.tiredeals4less.com....i doubt you will find anybody beating the price on them... they are nice tires. . no snow here yet but's it's coming. . i put 8oz of dyna beads each in them to balance,no problems so far. .

Bridgestone Revos

I just pulled my OEM tires with only 21K miles on them to put a set of Bridgestone Dueler Revos on. They are E rated and are a super tire for snow, ice, water or light mud. I have found them fairly quite and good for 50,000 miles. I have used up two sets of these on vehicles in Michigan and my son is on his second set in Montana. Consumer Report also rates them the number one tire in many categories. If your happy with the 265 OEM size you can get them in an E rating today. If you want 285 you have to wait until next summer.

That is a great price, how do the tires ride? do you get any vibration at low speed before the beads can balance out the tire?

I have had the 285/17 E rated Toyo AT's for about 5,000 miles so far. They ride great and stick much better then the stock Michelin's that I took off. They seem to be wearing well too-should see 50,000 miles out of them at this rate.

toyo m/t and they have E load rating. have over 25k on them and still not half worn out. once you run tires like these you'll never put highway tires on again. my uncle who is lets say "old school" gave me a hard time buying m/t, but after he seen the abuse i've given them and mileage i'm getting out of them. he is now the proud owner of the tires he beached at me about. LOL LOL...

75,000 miles on my OE BFG All Terrains. They still have another 10-12K left on them but they are terrible in snow, mud, sand, etc. I will save them for the summer. New rubber is Goodyear MTR 285/70/17, D rated, 3360 lbs. Absolutely incredible in the snow, mud, rocky terrain. Durawall construction with Kevlar for air down situations. We live at 9600 feet in Colorado and these MTR's have been awesome in extremely deep snow. I don't have a clue as to how much mileage I will be rewarded with. About 7 K on them now and they still look new.

What size? I have the 295's and they are "d" rated - And I can tell for sure. . They squirm ALL over the place with any amount of air in them...

i run the e rated 285 70 17's and they are very firm on the road, no squirm

wade had the revo's and hated them, they wore out way to fast for him.

Revo's here as well. Thanks to the blizzard like weather here yesterday I got to try them in the snow, they worked great compared to the stock michelins. E rated 265's and an aggressive but quiet tread... ..... I like them.

Hankook DynaPro 35x12. 50x17, Load E on the stock wheels. I've also got the KORE Chase suspension, steering stabilizer and track bar. Only 35 M/T I could get quickly here in MI. Lots cheaper than the Toyo's as well. I'll see how they hold up. 10K so far.
