Just bought a set of 285/70/17 toyo open country a/t 10 ply. . check out this website and the price on them... http://www.tiredeals4less.com....i doubt you will find anybody beating the price on them... they are nice tires. . no snow here yet but's it's coming. . i put 8oz of dyna beads each in them to balance,no problems so far. .

After I read your post I bought the same tires from them, thanks they were by far the cheapest for those Toyos, all the local places I called said the load range E 285/70/17 did not even exist.

I put in 8oz of the dyna beads as well when I had them mounted, it runs super smooth, I think even better than it did with the factory BFGs.

Thanks again.

Since I put my lift on I have run nothing but Pro Comps, mostly MTs, but they only last for about 35-40K. We'll see how the ATs last. The MTs were awesome in the snow and ice here in MO, but I did use them alot out in CO too, was pushing snow with my bumper and was still going!

cepek fun country 2's. Looks like they are going to last as long as the stock michelins, and almost 2x as long as the nitto terra grapplers I had on before. These are great tires. I rotated them at 25K for the 1st time, as they wore very evenly until then.

Cooper Discoverer M+S's here. I put them at all corners of my dually before we went to Alaska. Towed our travel trailer thru 4" of muddy/snowy sludge for 100 miles going across the "Top of the World Highway". No problems. Also proved to be no problem going up the Dempster Highway towards the Arctic Circle either. The Dempster is the true test of what a truck can take - believe me. They have ZERO highway noise when on dry pavement, and are even setup for pins. :)

I have to say that the OEM Michelin tires selected by Dodge are probably the part I dislike most about the truck. It's not so much the tire size, but they're just horrible. I had an '01 with the M/S Michelins which I thought was a pretty decent tire. But, the A/S are just bad. I've swapped to BFG ATs and now some Mickey Thompson's. Much improved.
