I'm getting a little low on ATF and the manual says use ATF+4. Where can you find this besides at the dealer? Can I use any ATF from the autoparts stores? Sorry for the silly question but I don't want to mess anything up. What should I use when I service the transmission at 30,000. Any recommendations?

Greg.

ATF+4

For myself I will use the Mopar ATF+4 from the dealership. You will probally have several different chimes on this subject. You can also do a search, and find different options of some that are saying there comparable to the ATF+4 synthetic. May could even check with a transmission shop, and see what they recommended.

I would top it off with whats already in there. That means a trip to the dealer to pick up the ATF+4 which ran me 8 bucks at the local establishment.

After problems I've had in the past with Chrysler trans, minvan, concorde and Dakota. I will only use mopar fluid and filters from now on. So get some atf+4 from the dealer and keep it in the back of the truck.
