Issue 38

I'm on DSL again.

Can anyone recommend their insurance for policy cost and claim support as being good? I'm currently with Allstate on auto and home, but looking to see if I can save a bit here as the economy calapses around us.

Looking to do comparison quotes through Metlife through a work program, and AIG that just came in the junk mail. Anyone using either of these companies and impressions of them if you're a policy holder?

I was with Progressive and they were charging me 2400. 00 per year with no tickets or accidents. I changed from Allstate to them and they ended up being no different. I then went to Gieco and my insurance is down to 1600. 00 per year for 3 vehicles.

I've been with Liberty Mutual for over 30 years, both home and auto. They have alway been reasonable and they don't screw you on claims.

I've been with Farmers Insurance for years- they have the cheapest rates I can find and you get discounts for extra vehicles, etc - check em out ! can't hurt !

Same here. I have not had any problems with them. I was with State Farm before. They beat State Farm rates pretty easy. I do have multi car discount. For my 1st gen it runs $800 a year with full coverage.

I left Geico to go to Safeco. Saved my self $400 a year. If you have perfect credit and driving record you will get in Safeco's "Top level" for GREAT rates. I think they have 13 levels. Its worth a shot.

If you're military look at USAA. I've been with them 37 years and have no complaints about premiums or claims.
A second for USAA, although I haven't been with them nearly that long. (I'm not even that old ;))
