Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What Boost Should I See???

Have 02 ho 6 speed all stock with ez and the elbow. Only see 24psi at gauge. Is that good? check for leaks none. See alot of talk with other quys hitting 30 psi with same set up. Should i worry???? Thanks andy

seems a little low, what's your altitude? I only see 34-36 psi with mach 2's and a comp at 4500 ft. Sure takes a lot of standing on the pedal to see that as well.



I didn't have my gauges in when stock so I can really compare.

I guess the more important question is: what are your EGT's? Yes that boost is a little low but maybe you don't need anymore to control EGT's. Remember more air will not give you more power.

I can peg the needle on my 30 pound boost guage on a good hill empty, and

see around 28 if you really through the coal to it in the flat. All I have is the

boost elbow off of an edge ez ,drop in K&N and Jammer stage 1 injectors.

My truck is also an 02 6 speed.

I can push about 28psi. All I have is the Superchips programmer.

when i just had the comp and elbow, all i could get was 28 and that was on 5x5.
