Im under the impression that the tst is pressure and duration?

If thats the case then what box would be the best for timing, or do i need it?

Im running the tst comp with the PS 66 and 150 edm's. I would like just a little more on the bottom end. I do plan on getting a cam later?

What do you guys think.

Thanks JC

I have an original Van Aaken box that plugs into the fuel pump. This is an under rated box that makes very good power. Also because it has no map plug-ins would be a great box for stacking.

yep the MAD ECM would be your best choice. It will give you the around town drivability and faster spooling and then turn up the TST for good kill stories :D

Now here is a question. How would a V/A stacked with a Catcher stacked with a B/C FMS work... LOL. I will have this set-up next week... . too bad my turbo will be way,way too small though. I more than likely will be selling the Blue Chip :{

Todd,

one of the members of the NWbombers had a similar setup. TST with a MAD ECM, and a comp run in EZ for additional timing.

He sold everything except the MAD and is trying a different box.

Even if I had a turbo or turbos that could handle this set-up I think it would be too hard on my HO pump. I will be going with the Catcher and some medium sized Machs. This seems to work very good from what I have read.

How do you like the Catcher? Mine should be here any day

I really like it so far.

I have M4s in the truck and with the box off, I don't get much smoke at all. The bottom end is much better than with the Comp.

I think Marco has made some changes to the ECM since I tried out a test unit months and months ago. That one had much more fuel off the bottom and a bit more snap. This came with lots of smoke.

Power is linear and it's doing fine!

the TST is timing and duration only. it does not do pressure.

that is why i have it. pressure is too hard on the wallet after it kills the pressure relief valve.

Pressure relief valve? What?

This here's the 2nd gen forums. We don't have any of that newfangled common rail stuff... ;)

The van Aaken R box gives awesome low end power. The stack I have works great and the R and V5 do the same thing just plug into different places.

TST for 3rd gen is pulse duration and timing

TST for 2nd gen is fueling

MAD ecm - fuel curve (can get with or without timing)

edge comp - fueling & timing (without pump tap is timing only aka EZ)

TST + MAD ecm(with timing) + comp = BOOM

Thanks for the replies, i guess i need to find a EZ or VA.

I also just saw a thread that the MAD ECM isnt being done anymore. Something bigger and better maybe
