Need truck shipped from Northern CA to MA

Hello all

Coworker recently bought a 2002 CTD and wants to put a brake controller in. I would assume that any brand will work fine, hook up the controller to the factory pigtail, plug it in? Can someone help with color codes, I am guessing heavy blue wire goes to brake output from controller, small red and black to power controller, and other heavy wire feeds controller? No idea on actual colors on this year, I could be way off!

I havent been following the 24v discussions much, my own fault!

Thanks all

No, there's a tremendous performance difference between controllers. I would highly recommend the Jordan Ultima 2020 or the Tekonsha Prodigy.

The factory pigtail has the function of each wire labeled. So does the Jordan (and I assume the Prodigy) controller. It is critical that the pigtail and controller wires be matched by function, not by color. Dodge uses a different color coding convention than many (most?) of the controller manufacturers.
