Hey guys im new to TDR and was wondering what brand of guages to Buy? I'm getting ready to purchase a Boost and pyro gauge for my 05 G56 dodge.

anybody install the afe intake elbow. Just curious if it is worth the money. I have banks Cat back with Cat removed Afe stage 2 intake.

Hey bob i beleave iv read in the fourms that you can load the smarty jr software onto the smarty S-06 is this true? As i cant remember.

tanx for any help

I went with the Isspro as they match our factory gauges and look pretty sharp. I only have the boost right now but I'm getting ready to get the pyro and some others. I haven't used any aftermarket intake horns but would like to if they weren't so expensive. I hear a lot of people were trying the CFM+ intakes but haven't heard much about whether they thought the money was worth it.

P. S. Welcome to the forum, a lot of good info floating around here, you won't regret it.

I like the way the Autometer phantom match the stock gauges , but I have had problems with my pyro and had to send it in, and now the trans temp fogs up slightly when it's getting warm . I had Isspro before and wanted something different this time maybe it's just a Isolated case with mine but the Isspro went 5 years with out even a bulb change .

I've had good service from my Dipricol gauges. almost 4yrs old now. no problems.

TST has several package options you can choose from. Here's a link if you like

I also get all of mine from Diesel Manor, best pricing I could find and the layout is nice, it has all the accessories you need at the bottom of the page so you don't have to go looking for them.

I JUST ordered 2 more of the ISSPRO matching gauges from them and the in dash mount. Best pricing I could find.

Our ISSPRO and DiPricol kits are about equally popular lately. The ISSPRO is a little less expensive but the DiPricol matches ever so slightly better becasue of the needle button (has a raised rib on it). With either brand you can't go wrong.

The ISSPRO Performax series also includes a Rail Pressure gauge. While it is a premium product (i. e. , more expensive than the EV series gauges), when you add in a Rail Pressure gauge then the price difference all but disappears. If you put any value on your own time (or are paying by the hour for a shop to install) then the reduced installation time of the Performax system is a big benefit.

Michael Pliska

Hi Forrest Nearing,

Shoot me your email address and I'll send you our ISSPRO pricelist. It has all of the Performax gauges as well as special info that you'll need for ordering, such as any other items you'll need for the kit.

If your looking for gauges it's really up to you. I"ve had autometers in my 04. 5 since it was brand new and only had one problem with the EGT gauge where it loojed like the wire had short or something in it. Now i got a new and its the fastest moving gauge in the truck.

(p. s. welcome to the forum)

Man, I wish I'd known about the ISSPRO rail gauge last week when I ordered my other gauges. Now they are here and I love them, but I would love more. .
