what brand lower ball joints?

What brand of lower ball joints are recommend ?moog, napa, dealer. and any tips in installation would be appreciated.

I only install Moog ball joints in my customers vehicles at the shop. I've had too many problems with the other companies products. If you buy your parts at Carquest the CQ lifetime balljoints are made by Moog the cheap ones are made by someone else. Napa balljoints are made by Dana according to the information given out by the Napa reps at the dinner I attended Thursday. Moog joints are available in their system by request, my local Napa stocks both brands of joints.

Real nice thing with the Moog stuff is that you only have to pay for it once in your lifetime.

thanks paul 20 some years ago i worked in a frt. end shop and thats all we used. always thought they were good also saved the box ends for things you could buy out of there catalog. are the lower ball joints pressed in or are they screwed in?

You really cant beat Moog. But I might try the adjustable balljoints next time.

I forget who makes them, but as soon as the search feature is back you shouldnt have any truoble finding out.

I replaced upper and lowers, ordered them through local NAPA, they were directly from DANA. Figured as least as good as original.
