My old bug shield was installed with two sided tape, I do not want this on anymore. What are you using? Brand? How is it mounted?

Thanks for the replies.

I'm using the Mopar Bug Shield with fender brows. It is supposeably one of the few that actually deflects bugs over the windshield (i. e. wind tunnel tested) rather than just for looks. The hood piece, if I recall correctly, was screwed to the plastic grill and the brows get pinched into the headlight assembly. There is also some tape which is used and funky two-sided tape standoffs that keep it from bending down too far. So far it has held up fairly well except for some bird pecked chips into it when he saw his reflection.

Lund Stainless Steel Interceptor

Gotta go with the Interceptor from Lund. I got the Stainless steel model for my white truck to compliment the other chrome I have on it. The smoked bug shields don't do much for a light colored truck. It blends in really well with the grill and attaches between the hood and the grill using existing bolts. The fender eyebrows also attach using pre-existing screws.

The interceptor for the Dodge has more of a big rig look as it doesn't have the goofy "bubble" look like some of the plastic bug shields do. It's basically stands straight with just the right amount of curve with the hood.

It keeps my truck looking good and my windshield clean.

Driver Design bug deflector and eyebrows. I have never had any problems with this shaking the outside mirrors at all either like most will do... ... Andy
