That is my plan I’m going to wait it out till I loose OD all together. I hope I can make it to massdiesel in 3rd gear!!!!

Thank you all for the advice,

Micah

Steve---neither Bill or Piers had any ideas on this one---they did agree that it wasn't the transmission---I was able to talk the dealer into installing an upgraded driveline assm with the large dampener just behind the front u-joint including new center support but that didn't help. I have been searching for a vibration tester that has long magnetic pickup leads that show the viabration on a guage as you drive down the road, able to check up to 6 different circuits with just a change of the dial. I used one years ago that belonged to a fellow shop owner. He passed away and I guess he took it with him. ---Sam

Mine is definately RPM/lugging related. I have a 1 piece driveshaft and the truck did it with the original trans, NEW replacement trans, new TC, shift kit, etc. I have had 5 different iterations of the transmission in the truck and it has remained consistant.

Sam, I'd probably have been escorted out of the dealership by now if I were you. Did you check the tightness of the splines on the tailshaft of the trans (or T-case) and also on the slip joint? I had that cause a shudder in a car once.

Another thought: you might try hooking up a video camera to look at different parts of the driveline to see if that helps.
