I had my truck towed to ATS because they thought I had one of the after market injectors I bought from them stick open. Well after they got it into their shop they found that #2 cylinder had absolutely no compression. They pulled the head off to find that one of the stock valve seets dropped down and caused the valve to damage the top of the piston. They also said the injectors are fine.
I spoke to a dodge mechanic and he said it sounds like the injector stuck open and overfueled the cylinder causing extreme heat and causing the damage.
What are your guys thoughts on this? Is this a typical thing to happen?
