Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) what causes this

okay recently discovered this issue hit 2400 rpms quickly to pass someone and ended up having to stop real quick. the truck came to a stop in nuetral and the rpm rev and needle was all over 650 to 850 almost a stumble. didnt die. kept running. I just recently put 100 hp injectors and ez and fass/95 flow pump on. the truck maintains 17-19 psi at all times. the only thing i can think of is flooring it to pass put extra fuel then stopping suddenly. I dont know I know the EZ is rough and stumbly lately due to the cold weather. but I dont know if this is all related and help out there sorry this is so long.

Perhaps your MAP sensor? High boost then let off it and it doesn't return to 0 psi. Causes overfueling. EZ and injectors make it worse. Pull it and clean it.
 
Hey DIESELWRKS! How do you like the Jammer's! I'm planning on getting the 100's or 125's, I haven't decided yet! Did you get the nozzles or the whole injector, and if you don't mind, what did you pay! I plan on ordering mine in about 2week's! :D Sorry I changed the subject! ;)
