the Hydrants here are painted Yellow (not sure which Hue) and the tops are color coded as to what the water pressure is since it varies from area to area here, the one across from my house has a black top, which means over 120 or 150 PSI, the water pressure is 190 PSI on my street, everyone has a pressure reduction valve
