Anybody have any idea why DC got rid of intense blue?. I swear i get at least one comment a DAY on how nice the color is of my Ram from anybody around when i park

When I told people that I had ordered an Intense Blue truck I got a bunch of funny looks and some frowns. When I got the truck everyone said "Now I know why you ordered Intense Blue. That is the best looking truck I have seen" So I guess with DC dropping Intense Blue I will probable get more drool on my truck. :D

Driftwood

You forgot driftwood!! I have absolutely no idea where the name came from. If there stuff that color floating around in the river I would be sure and get out of the water lol. And yes... its different than silver

This is kind of a bad poll. Where you only wanting information from 2001 owners? If it's open to all years of 2nd gen, trucks then you also forgot:

driftwood

brilliant blue

dark blue

garnet red

dark garnet red

metallic red

emerald green

kiwi green

moss green

amethyst

chestnut brown

... and a bunch more others.

MikeR, sorry I was not really aware of all of those colors. I guess this is not a good poll after all! Anyway I guess I'll see where it leads.

Nothing beats BLACK!

NOTHING!

Geography affects perspective. Down here in the South, Nothing beats WHITE!

(I'll concede Black is Beautiful, but temperature is a factor my locale doesn't allow me to ignore!)

:)

Ditto the above post on white. It is also the easiest to match after an accident. Amazingly, it really doesn't show dirt like the darder colors do.

My buddy at work has a Patriot Blue 01. 5 CTD. He can wash it on Sunday, and by Monday afternoon is is filthy. INot to mention how it loves aquiring AZ pinstiping out in the desert.

I love black, but unless you live in So. CA it is just not worth the labor.

To paraphrase Mr. Ford, "Any color, as long as it is err, white. "

If i had a garage and only had to drive my truck in nice weather, i would definatley get a black truck. A CLEAN Black truck looks awesome. But look around any parking lot at look at all the black cars, i swear almost all of them will have lots of swirl marks and scratches that you dont see on lighter colored vehicles. As much as i would love to have a black truck, i dont have the time to keep it that clean and worry about all the scratches. The lighter the color, the easier it is to keep it looking nice. You can Key a white truck and unless its in the right light, you wont even see it. I am in the middle with Intense blue, not to dark, not to light.

My truck is White with gray bottom. The main reason I went with white is I live on a gravel road and white seems to hide the dust pretty good so it always looks clean until it rains.
