What color is your turbo?

There seems to be a clear coating on it that has turned a nice shade of brownish gold. The most I’ve seen on my pyro is 1280 for a few seconds but I will run it is the lower 1200’s up hills while pulling the trailer or racing other trucks. I was wondering if this is some way that DC tells how hot the turbo is getting?

I think that's pretty normal, mine done it before any mods while towing a trailer.

X, I think he's refering to the compressor side, the aluminum side, my exhaust side is kinda bluish purple color.

You're right, I've got one for the front three cylinders and one for the back three. One is on an analog gauge, the other on my digital TST gauge. They are usually within 50° of each other, acception being upon acceleration due to reaction time.
