What color on clearance light housing?

Hey guys,



I am trying to determine what the factory color is on the roof clearance lights housing. Mine looks to be a beigy-whitish color. Are they suppost to be chrome? Thanks,

I "think" that they were painted body color, but not sure.

Beigy-Whitish is a Dodge proprietory color. :-laf Yeah I thought mine had lost their chrome to but after viewing old picks of new trucks, Thats how they came. However, there was a post on the frst gen forum about Chrome Markers the same shape as the originals someone found and these were going to be available through trucklite I think. . Check through all the threads, you should be able to find it.

My 93 has two part numbers on the inside the housing. One part number for argent and one for chrome. Mine are argent.

Mine are grey.

i think stock they all came greyish. both mine are. i painted mine white when i painted the truck. gonna paint the wifes (lamps, not the truck) red soon.

Ok, factory was not chrome, but aftermarkets are. Anyone know where they are availible from (the ones in the link)? Thanks

If you check out what the seller is in the business of selling you will notice all of it is lights and other light accessories. So if you were to contact the seller he may have sets for sale out right without actually bidding. But since he has them for sale they must still be in production. I looked on Hella's website but couldn't find them there but if you were to contact them im sure if they were in production they could point you into the right direction for dealers. If you really want them, you may have to pay more than you would think. That just how it go's.

P. S. They are also still available by the way, from Mopar, but at around $350 for a compleate set.

They are supposed to be gray, We did put out a few gas trucks in the early years with the chromed plastic version but do not recall ever putting any on the diesels...

Mine came with them factory installed and they are beige.
