What companies make intercoolers?

Wanting to find out who all makes intercoolers for the 06 5. 9 cummins that don't stick down past the frame like the turbonetics intercoolers? thanks and anybody else but banks also.

all i can say is i am very unhappy with my bd intercooler. it has ballooned out on me and has rubbed a hole in it now from poor fitment. i have a replacement being sent to me i will get friday but bd is the worst company i have ever delt with bar none. i am going to have to spend time fabbing my bumper bracket and other mounts to make it work. this is my opinion and others may be happy but i haven't heard of one yet that doesn't work there or got it for free.

I have Banks and keeps the EGT down by 100* going up grades. No complaints.

I've had a Banks intercooler and intake in my truck, along with Banks flow thru exhaust, minus the CAT, with a Jacobs exhaust brake, for a year and a half. Lots of negative comments have been posted about these companies, but I am very satisfied with the fit, install, and performance of everything. I've become convinced after 30 years of custom home building, that you can't please everyone. JH

Banks does have a decent intercooler, intake, exhaust system, and intake manifold. However, call them and talk to them. You'll know why they have a bad rep reallyt quick. Some yahoo salesmen that knew nothing about the truck swore i needed $4000 worth of stuff for 120hp. And this DID not include transmission upgrades... .



you can find a triple dog for $350 used and get crazy larry and have 180hp on hand.

I know about Banks marketing and don't care for it. Good products but bad marketing. Same thing for Amsoil.

put their marketing aside(Its same as with every aftermarket Manufacturer) and Look at fit and finish,ease of application, functionality,Warranty Etc.

From a business standpoint, I understand Banks totally. The bottom line is the bottom line. And making money is the name of the game. I agree their customer service is crap but that doesn't concern me because I have their intercooler and it won't need any service other than what I will give it...
