I once saw Chris LeDoux in Cheyenne. Had no idea cowboys threw bottles and chairs. I got one good punch in before receiving 4 stitched in my upper lip and a black eye. Man... when I was young!

I'm going to to see The Damned soon. Social Distortion is who I would like to see again.

Think I replied to this thread a few years ago :-laf but wife and I saw Jimmy Buffett again this summer (20th concert)

I am a Parrothead.....

Any of the old timers remember the California Jams at Ontario Speedway... .

1974- * Rare Earth

* Earth, Wind and Fire

* Eagles

* Seals & Crofts

* Black Oak Arkansas

* Black Sabbath

* Deep Purple (See Live in California 74)

* Emerson, Lake and Palmer

And 1978-Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, Santana, Dave Mason, Foreigner, Heart, Bob Welch (with special guests Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood), Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush and Rubicon.

What a party! The 70's were so cool and I survived!

I'm not into the big production concerts but I'd like to see Brad Paisley in concert again. That's a talented group of guys doing some serious pickin...

I'd like to see him at the Grand 'Ole Opry or a smaller venue, you know, one of those more laid back style shows, no lights and fanfare, just some good playin'.

Those are my favorite kind of shows too. George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Tracy Lawrence, Tracy Byrd... . They all put on great shows without all the stage show crap.

I saw Chris Ledoux three times at local dance halls. He does have a "rockin" show and I enjoyed him. Got my Resistol 20X straw hat signed by him at one of the shows too. I always liked his music, but it seemed like every album got batter and better. What a loss.

My dad was and still is a huge fan of traditional music, so I got to see a lot of stuff like Jim & Jesse and the Virginia Boys, The Lewis Family, Rhonda Vincent (did some work for her folks, they lived not far from our house), and a bunch of folks I can't remember at the moment. I am now a huge old country fan. I would love to have been able to see guys like Johnny Cash, Elvis, Patsy Cline, Johnny Horton, ect... but most of them kicked the bucket before I was born. Generally anything country prior to the early nineties would do just fine. Most stuff after may as well be pop or something else.

That is some good music right there! The great thing about bluegrass music is you can go to festivals and see many groups over the course of a couple days. I have seen the Lewis Family many times. "Lil Roy" can burn up any instrument he gets his hands on! That man has talent!

Rhonda Vincent is beautiful with a beautiful voice and mandolin pickin talent! Alison Kraus is another good musician and singer.

Don't give up on all of the new country. It is not all pop. There are some true talents out there, but they are just not the "mainstream, hollywood sound-alike" that big wig radio likes to play... . Just because they don't make the school kids drool like that awful Rascal Flatts, does not mean they don't have talent. It is just harder to find the less "mainstream", more traditional singers and groups these days. There are new bluegrass artists who keep it traditional too... . I go to local shows regularly that feature national acts.

just saw.......

allman bros. again @ tweeter ctr. w/ ratdog. awsome. ratdog wasn't too bad either. would like to see santana again, of course. then theres little feat, big head todd and the monsters, michael franti, and john mellencamp... ... ... . never liked the cougar, but have heard some of his live stuff and even his new album, so i would definetly give him a try.
