The liberals are still whining about President Bush "giving" money to those who don't need it. They just don't understand the concept of a refund being a refund of money paid. NOT money handouts like welfare. It's our money to do with whatever we choose. President Bush just gave some of it back to us, the people who "earned" it. If they want a refund, they should've worked and paid in enough to support their share of our government services they use the most of at the expense of the rest of us.

Refund

Got my big honking air filter from NAPA in Greybull WY, today. $49. 00:D :D :D

275 injectors are next --- Thanks George Bush --- you got my vote.

This whole rebate thing pisses me off, it cost 3 billion dollars just to do it, this doesn't count the money paid back. Now they want to dip into SS to meet the new deficit. I feel that all it was is 3 billion tax payer dollars that went into GWB's reelection campaign without most folks knowing it. I would give my rebate to the Democratic party if they weren't crooks also.

Let's face it. If those overeducated idiots in DC would redo the tax code, they wouldn't have to give us refunds!!! THEY WILL NEVER DO THE RIGHT THING about SS. If SS is so good, why isn't Congress on the same plan as us? OH, I forgot, they're better than us.

Take every politician, put them in a bag and shake it, then dump it out, and you couldn't tell them apart. I personally don't have an iota of respect for 90% of them.

Some day I'll tell you how I really feel about politicians:mad:

My $600 went right back into the economy. My brothers and I went together and bought our Mom, the 70 year old internet freak, a new computer from Dell. Awesome setup, top of the line with 19" monitor and all.

Watch what you say, Mom may be watching?!?!?!?!?

Paid on some bills

Does is count if I'm paying for bombing stuff I already bought? ;)

 How can they "dip into" social security, when it's NOT a seperate fund? For all practical purposes, social security has been part of the general fund for years.

Got my 370's sitting next to me!! Thanks Piers, for an excellent deal!

Spent over $3000 at Home Depot in the last week, so I guess that's a few rebates!!:D

You should have put a few more choices to the poll like:

"Saving it for the coming tax hike when we figure out we didn't have a surplus"

or

"Paying for Inflated fuel prices that we are so commonly gouged for before any three day weekend"

Okay already... . paying for my Credit card which has my DTT upgrade:rolleyes: :D :p :D

I spent a tad more than the rebate on new shocks, shoes, and stabilizer. Good thing too, them Coopers were showing steel in a couple of places, and the rear shocks were toasted well done. the stabilizer wasn't too bad but I doubt it would have lived to see another birthday. I'm hesitant to deal with the front shocks yet. I may try to con DC into installing them for me if/when I find out for certain if the spring tower recall affects Swamprat V.

Since my rebate check is going for lights, I am hoping Santa will deliver on Marlin's new 45. 70 in the stainless version.
