while i have had many laugh at some of the names they really are great names. While i take very good care of my truck and spend lots of time with it i have over looked how important a name is for it. so thats next on my list of to do's. i need to take my time and give it lots of thought so it can be a name to stick with meaning. after all it has take ne 140k and 9 yrs with no major problems!!!

Delta Airline's motto was/used to be "We are ready when you are!" So, since my truck is ready when I am, Delta is her name.

My wife names all our vehicles:

Silvester Prettytruck = Ram 3500 :)

POJ = my Chevy work truck -

Heidi = BMW family car -

Beth = wifes daily driver MR2

Yoshi = kids daily driver MR2 :cool:

She didn't get along with one of the cars (the Miata in this months Grassroots Motorsports) I was racing a couple years ago and named it "the wench" -

And don't forget the previous ones...

Prettytruck = Ram 2500 (which was red, unlike Sylvester Prettytruck, which was silver [of course], but is now white) ;)

Bruiser = race MR2 that broke my ribs (interestingly enough, a year after getting that name) -

Sparky = first race MR2 -

Scruffy = Eagle Talon TSi

Angel = Shelby Charger -

and the late, unlamented GMC Safari that was our first tow vehicle... Van O'Love. Some idiot designer made EVERYTHING on the inside of that thing red... carpet, headliner, seats, dash. I think he must have come to the design table after seeing a really bad western with a lot of bordello scenes. -

The wife (who bets her husband won't leave stuff running on the computer when leaving for a meeting anymore once he discovers I posted a message with this many smilies to TDR under his name!!)
