I am getting closer to making the move. I was offered 18g for my trade and approx a price of 55g on a 59g truck. I understand they may show a good trade number then hold on the truck price. What are you guys paying for the actual truck. Thanks

I got 2012 HO dually Laramie Longhorn 4x4 sticker for 59,763. 00 I bought for 51,280. 00 at Canandaguia Chrysler in New York -loaded with everthing but DVD Entertainment system.

Ok. Great. JFought. Your sig truck is an 06? I got about 10g off when I bought my '06 as well. Not sure they are offering that still. Lets hope! The above post was close.

Do you remember what the sticker was. Trying to get a feel for the percentages they are coming down.

Sticker was around $52K... I got a decent deal. Bought truck in Oct 2010 at end of MY.

Other than the current annoying problem with no low beam headlights, it's been great.

Paid $7,500 under sticker, then added military discount for a total of $8,000. 00 under sticker. In November of last year... .

Remember that the more options on the truck, the more they can move down.

If you are looking at an ST, don't expect as much off MSRP as you can get on a more optioned out truck.

I am looking at a truck with a sticker over 59k. I was hoping to pay close to 50k. Is that unrealistic today? I am just going by what my last 4 new trucks went for relative to there sticker price.

That is still giving the dealer a decent profit, they should do it. Sticker 57,000 out the door 43,700 + tax & license. Sam

Did that include a trade or cash down. $13,000 off sticker seems crazy!?!?

No trade in. I just like to negotiate. They had a promotion with Dodge to sell 90 new vehicles in the month of October. I believe if they made the goal they received a $900 bonus per vehicle. I worked with the general manager and he told me it was below his cost. The dealer also gets a percentage back from Dodge when they sell a vehicle. I believe it is 3%. The dealers also get up to 2% back from the bank or credit union. In the end they broke even on my deal. Sam

kkreigh. I am now getting people offering around what you just said. The trade is a completely different ball of wax

Welcome to Canada... land of death and taxes! My signature truck options over and above the Longhorn package (which includes pretty much everything you could ever want) were T-case skid plate ($75), sunroof ($1250), 730N media ($500), BFG Rugged Terrain tires that I promptly got rid of ($300), Federal Air Conditioning Excise Tax ($100), Destination Charge ($1400). Base price was $70,440. Price with options $74,065. At the time the special of the day was "No charge Cummins". (don't forget the 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax).

I paid $59,900 which included a 5th wheel hitch installed, vent visors, mud flaps, box cover. All in all a very good deal (where I come from). My wife was the salesperson and this was staff pricing. I don't think it gets any better than this.

This was last July that I bought my truck, but considering our dollar is par and diesel in my area works out to $4. 73/US gallon, I say enjoy your pricing! I would gladly pay the equivalent of your US sticker prices without getting a deal!

They gave me $29K cash trade in for my 2007. 5 3500, a $1,500 military discount, and I wrote a check for $10K (included an extra $1. 5K for mudgards, Mopar steps, and a spray-in bedliner), and I drove the new truck home.

Somehow I think the dealer still made a few bucks. They don't work for free. But I still think I got a hell of deal.

I bought the truck at Landers Dodge in Bossier City, LA... one of the best dealers I've ever worked with.

Other than the annoying headlight issue (which I think is caused by the snowplow wiring and not Dodge), I haven't had a SINGLE problem with this truck in 40K miles or the previous 2007. 5 6. 7.

A total of almost 80K trouble free miles logged over the last 5 years on Cummins 6. 7. I don't think a better pickup truck engine exists on this planet.
