I bought my truck used with 28K miles It had pulled a fiver alot. I have asked a question before about the waste gate and this line you can remove or block It goes from the afc thats the part with the star wheel right to the waste gate thats on the under side if you will of the turbo right? anyway I have not got that line on my truck?? I have from the rear of the afc to the intake a small line looks stock nothing else off the afc like that then on the turbo on the front side down on the area that connects if you will to the intercooler hose. there is a elbow looks brass which has a 3/8 rubber line connected to it which also connects on the waste gate only line on the waste gate is this line. the turbo end has a reg radiator clamp on it not stock the waste gate end has a regular stock looking clamp. Having said this I am trying to understand if I have some mods already The afc has a break away screw but it also looks like it has been removed?? I suspect by a glue spot on the inside dash where gauges may have been?? any thoughts would be wonderfull Thanks so much Patrick

Hey Patrick, since yours is an auto, your line comes off the front of the turbo, and goes back to the wastegate. Plug that line if you want more boost. I could only get 19lbs before, now I get about 32 or so plugged at WOT, made a big difference in performance. GET GUAGES!!!!

Thank You Slewis That helped me some I can see now why the one end would have a diff clamp I bet it has been pluged before. I also am confident this truck had some Gauges as well. I need to do that first and soon . to me this truck has alot of power more than my 93 ever thought of having Maybe under the afc is a diff plate. I suppose I need gauges to see where it sits as it is and then can go from there?? here we Go BOmbs away!!Thanks alot :D

I bet your truck does have an aftermarket plate Patrick, I just remebered that the TST kits come with a different boost elbow, like you said, it didn't look stock. If your truck feels like it has alot of power, then I bet it has a kit in it. Take the afc housing off, and see whats inside. If I am not mistaken, the # is stamped on the top of the plate. Hope this helps you out buddy.

Yes sir You have been a great help I will remove the afc and see what I can discover about this truck First I need a clean out of my shop or a nice warm day. any other pointers anyone has would be appreciated thanks alot buddy Patrick:D
