What do I need to run crazy larry? (or Extreme)?

Say I have a stock '06 with gauges, and want to run the crazy larry program. What do I need to upgrade to do so reliably?

Do I just need a few transmission upgrades or do I need a full billet transmission for like $6K?

Do I need to upgrade the turbo?

Anything else?

Right now I'm just running the Bullydog at 90hp. What do I need to run on Extreme?

Some type of booster fuel pump, transmission upgrades, injectors, and turbo upgrade. To really get aal the hp/torque, you will have to do all these things, just like Bully Dog needed to do to get it out of their test vehicle. They don't tell ya that part when they advertise 230 added horsepower!!

It does a little timing, a lot of pressure. It is one heck of a downloader. transmission upgrade, single/twin turbo upgrade and injectors over time.

My injectors are starting to show wear after 40K miles on them. The downloader will really enhance the low end.

Learn from my mistake and get a full built transmission with a warranty. Don't just buy the major parts and have someone do the rest. My checkbook will show you why!

Transmission upgrades highly recommended! I am running the TST on a lower setting and I am getting it to slip hard. So, save the money and buy the billet trans. You may not need the full billet, but at the min you need billet input, converter, valve body and flexplate. If you are going to drive it hard, you should seriously consider upgraded clutches.

As for me, I won't tear apart one of these without doing clutches. Cheap insurance. Sucks to spend 4K on transmission upgrades to have the clutches slip. Not to metntion bad for business.
