I know you've already gotten this answer, but I'll just to put an emphasis on it... . NEVER, EVER put automotive anti-freeze in your holding tanks!

Just like RustyJC said..... RV anti-freeze is specifically made for this.

Wow, lots of good suggestions, might have to get air ride to level it all out:D :D

I aslo like to take an extra spare tire for the truck, as I figure I can leave the trailer:{ but not the truck.

A Johnson

Batteries

Service batteries in truck and trailer. My trailer batteries boiled 1/3 low and only had 2 days of charge. :(

Tire pressures, bring gauge. Fix-a-flat (gasp!)? Floor jack? Star wrench? Toolboxes? Sunglasses? Cooler? Ice scrapper? Rain-X?

Have a good trip,

Pat

:{ Just found out !@W%^$%&%^$&%^&#%&#%^&$#%^*%^*()&(*($$%&^*(_*#&E%^$^*%^(*&(_%#%@$&%^&()*^(_)*ER^&#%(*^&*)*^()^ work may reverse itself and not allow the time off :mad: :mad: :-{} STILL waiting for some stupid #@$%@#^*(&*)*&( ass to decide :mad: :mad: :-{} may end up: :{ :{

Wooo hooo! Problem solved. The new owners of the company and the fresh manager *decided* to reduce vacation time from 3 to 2 weeks which originally ended my trip plans. Problem was solved by getting a *new* job that paid more $$ and had three weeks vacation right from the start. Really felt good to tell them to get lost, Wyoming here we come. Should I mail the (censored) hole who told me my scheduled vacation was cut a post card from Devils Tower :D

Revenge is a dish best served any way you can :D

I carry a pair of work gloves and wear them when I refuel, in order to keep the diesel fuel off my hands and off the steering wheel, shift lever, etc. I also carry a box of those "wash 'n dry" individual foil packet moist towlette things, whatever you call them. Some people are pretty careless when they re-fuel, and I've come across some fuel nozzles that were just coated with fuel. I'm also careful not to let the hose rub against my clothes. I learned the hard way while wearing nice pants to a social occasion once. Got a nice dirt-soaked diesel fuel stain from a coated hose.

Might want to add a spare serpentine belt to your list. Double check that it's the right one.
