when you replace the factory airbox, what do you do with the sensor clip on the top??? If you leave it unplugged do you get codes??

My AirAid setup had a plce to put the sensor, it will definately throw a code and a check engine light if it is unpluged. I left it off after an oil change once and it threw the code and light immediately!

Did you see any measureable differences with the AirAid? I only ask because it looks like we're set-up the same for boxes and I have a real problem with the lack of flow figures by AFE, so I've been leaning towards the AirAid. At least I've never heard of a problem with one and with the lack of a metal intake tube I would assume it to be quieter than the AFE.

I've been very happy with the AirAid setup. It was the first thing I did to the truck and between it and the MIT it did spool the turbo a little quicker (by like 1 or 200 rpm).

i have left mine plugged in and used a screw to attach it to the battery tray. i need time to finish making the piece that i can weld in to mount it to my new piping or cut & splice the wires longer to mount it to the closed end of the bhaf
