I've been watching the local 'serve yourself' yards for a styled chrome bumber off a Ramcharger, and a couple weeks ago lo and behold, there it was at Pick A Part south of Fresno. I had it off in less than 10 minutes and was out the door with it for $70. 00. To install it on my truck was a snap, the bumper brackets are the same spread as my trucks frame, there were even two holes I could use to mount it, I only had to add two more. I had it installed in less than an evening. The bumper I replaced was a slightly tweaked and bent silver painted step bumper. Sure I lose the 'step' feature but I didn't need it that bad. And for the huge improvement in appearance I could afford to lose the step feature more than once. I really like the way it cleaned up the back end and added a little bit of style/pizzaz.

quikshft,

Geno's has a hitch cover that's a fold down step on page 26 of the latest catalog, if you miss the step feature.

JC Whitney has a tubular step that bolts to the top, inner tailgate. When you lower the gate, it folds out and down to provide a step up.

You younger guys may wonder why they'd make such a thing, but give it a few years and it'll kick in.

By the way, nice rear end... . and I mean that in a strictly heterosexual way ;)
