2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission What do you like about your 2nd generation truck, compared to the 3rd?

I like the fact that I can see more out of my 97 than the 04. The 3rd jen has a higher hud that I just dont like.

Think back, in retrospect, when Dodge introduced the "NEW" Truck body style in 93-94, EVERYONE liked it. Die hards from the Ford and GM camps could get one fast enough.

If you notice, every one is offering the suicide type hidden rear door in all makes of cars and trucks. In a pick up it's great. It makes up for a pick ups short commings. A better strategy would have been to continue the quadcab (suicide door) and offer a crew cab. No vision.



If they still made the hidden suicide doors, I would probably get a 05.
